Summary of the role:

Being part of an Agile team (Scrum, SAFe or Kanban), you will be programming software to facilitate journey for millions of travelers every year.


Work out what users need:  you can come up with plans to create new software or improve what we have. To that end you will model, design and implement databases as necessary.
Use your technical skills to give users what they’re after: You’ll do that by designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining software solutions. In lign with software architects, you will also design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies. You’ll be supported by a community of Principal Engineers on your daily work, to share coding best practices!
Check your solutions work: You’ll run unit, component and performance tests. Then go through the phase of checking your software works for other people and finally fine-tune your software as a result of all your testing.
Help get your software out into the world: You’ll create documents to help our departments use your software. You will Debug software based on Problem Tracking Records and Change Requests from Product Management and Product Definition.


What we are looking for:

You are passionate about software development, eager to learn about new languages, own a Masters or Engineering School Degree in Computer Science or related field. You have some practice on C, C++ and RDBMS/SQL.
Ideally, you know Python, MongoDB, Java/Swing or AngularJS and Oracle too and you Standard Template Library and Unix/Linux.
